The contact with Arthur Lehning developed into a firm
collaboration. Lehning was busy preparing an overview
exhibition about the origins and development of his magazine
“i10” together with his assistant Toke van Helmond. The
Institut Néerlandais requested Lehning to organize such an
exhibition. Because he often had meetings in Mondrian’s studio, it was rather evident to include a big architectural scale model of the Mondrian studio in this exhibition. The 1:10 scale model was made exclusively for the Lehning exhibition. |
