In 1987 the spatial qualities research concerning Mondrian’s
Paris studio on the Rue du Départ commenced. The research
was guided by Frans Postma, head of the architectural model
department and eventually, accomplished with two students:
- Twan Jutte who focused on the literature research and;
- Luc Veeger: he focused on the technical aspects, like the
measurements and town planning research. The architectural
model “practice” that started in 1985, culminated to a
humble exhibition on an open day of the Architecture Faculty
in the Material hall. The provisional result of the
research, a sample model scale 1:20, was displayed together
with some text/documented panels.
